This is 2.5-days hands-on workshop open to all surgeons who are involved in Diabetic Foot Reconstruction.

The Topics covered are -

  • Application of Total contact Casting
  • In-clinic procedures such as tendon lengthening and tenotomies
  • Assessment of progression of Diabetic Foot deformities and discussion of surgical and non-surgical management depend on the stage of foot deformities
  • Cadaveric workshop for the procedures such as tendon lengthening, metatarsal osteotomies, midfoot corrective osteotomies and beaming techniques, hindfoot reconstruction with nailing and lastly, foot and ankle amputations.
