EFAS Travelling Fellowships
A 3 week surgical trip around Europe's foremost training sites.
As in previous years, EFAS will have two routes (a Western and an Eastern one) starting September 30th and ending at the Congress in Brussels, on the 17th to 19th of October 2024.
The application period is already open, and it will end on the 30th of May 2024.

Applicants are welcomed to join the orthopaedic department as travelling foot and ankle trauma fellows for 1-2 weeks. It will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, showcase our scope of practice and our management of complex injuries. The fellows will mainly be observing and will not be in involved in direct patient care.
The foot and ankle/ Limb reconstruction unit at SSMC orthopaedic department is run by two experienced UK trained consultants. The unit is part of a large orthopaedic department which covers all aspects of Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery in the largest Trauma Centre in the Gulf region.
BOFAS does not directly fund this visitation but successful applicants are invited to apply for the £500 BOFAS visitation fellowship.

AOFAS Travelling Fellowship
The Travelling Fellowship Programme offers a special opportunity for AOFAS Active, Candidate, and International Members under age 49 to meet, observe, and exchange ideas with foot and ankle leaders.
The 2024 Traveling Fellows will attend AOFAS Annual Meeting 2024 in Vancouver, Canada, and visit the University of Colorado, University of California-Davis, and Stanford University. Travel will take place September 10-26, 2024.
