The course itself is deliberately interactive; there will be no long didactic lectures and there is no traditional faculty/delegate split. There will be reviews of the medical literature on a range of topics and the faculty will be imparting ‘tips and tricks’ and the benefit of their experience. Each mini-session of talks is followed by discussion time in order to encourage all of those around the table to contribute. The ‘break-out’ sessions are split into four smaller groups for focused discussion on controversies and topical issues in Foot & Ankle surgery, through the review of specific clinical cases.
